It is foggy here in Jax this morning. Taking the kids to school, I really had to focus on the road ahead-it was hard to see. Today it’s supposed to reach 80 degrees (Dec ember 16th?!) so I know when it heat up, the fog will burn off. That reminds me…When things in our life are foggy, we’re unsure of the road ahead, we should intensify our focus. All of our senses should be heightened so we don’t miss a word from God, miss a divine moment; miss hearing an answer that we’ve been waiting to hear. When you’re feeling the heat..keep focused! The heat has a purpose - it can be a good thing…just like the heat burning off the fog.
Father, thank you for the fog and the heat. Although at its peak I’m not jumping for joy, I know it’s for my good. I know in my own life that it is during those times I focus harder on you and my faith grows.
